Adoption Policy
Our dogs and cats are not first come/first serve. We place pets with the home that is the best fit for them. Not all animals are good in all homes, whether it’s their personalities, nature, or breed. We base our decision on what’s best for the dog or cat and the family. Thank you for understanding!
Adoption Process

- Adoption contract & adoption fee
Adoption Application: Please fill out the Online Adoption Application Form.
You may also choose to fill out the Word version of Pet Adoption Application Form and email it to O.S.C.A.R. (Open. Fill out. Save. Email.)
Please make sure you fill out every section of the adoption application. After you submit your application, please check your email during the days that follow. We will email you to set up a Meet & Greet or to ask additional questions.
The application process generally takes 3-4 days as we check your references. The application process may take longer if all sections are not filled out and we need to contact you for additional information.
It is important to notify your vet and personal references that we will be calling. When references take longer to get back to us, it takes us longer to get back to the adopters.
