Andy

(David)

“We want to thank OSCAR for our adorable, funny, affectionate, playful, Andy.

I’m 70, chronically ill, and Andy is our 4th dog since my diagnosis 23 years ago. As I write this, my little friend is cuddled against my leg-under the bed sheet. Every morning after he goes outside, and has his breakfast, he comes bounding into the bed and burrows under my sheets.Haha- he’s done this since the morning after we brought him home, and I can’t say enough about how having him next to me has helped my morning depression.

Although early on we had to hire a trainer for his houstraining and nipping, he is so smart and learned quickly. He actually rings bells hanging from our door when he has to go out! Our only issue is we’re still trying to teach him to bark when he’s done outdoors. He acts as though he doesn’t want to bother us and just sits outside the door. We’re working on that. But I’ve trained him to retrieve, and return, his ball, and when Springtime arrives we’ll resume our long walks with me at the wheel of by mobility scooter.

Thank you again for my little treasured companion who bounces of the wall when my husband, Doug, comes home after work. Andy loves him, and the feeling is mutual.”

Mita

(Carmita)

“Hi,

Hope this e-mail finds you well! Mika continues to adjust to her new home. She is settling in with us, and doing great so far – in just a few days, she has learned to ‘sit’ like a champ, and has made a few doggy friends walking around our neighborhood! She sleeps through the night with us as soon as we turn the lights off. She’s an absolute love, and we’re so happy with her!

We absolutely love little Mika, and we will continue to support her through training and other things as she adjusts to New York City! I’ve attached a few pictures of Mika settling in!”

Lightfoot

(Kane)

“Kane’s new name is Lightfoot; he’s very well, enjoying his new home. Thank you!”
